It was a Saturday weekend and we’ve arranged for a family movie outing at The Mines. After the movie (The Sorceror’s Apprentice) which was rather entertaining we headed for lunch. Since T wanted pasta and I have the urge for pizza we decided to check out this outlet which is new to us. We went through the menu and this is what we ordered.
Mushroom Soup @ RM 5.90 ~ Traditional Italian vegetable soup with chicken. Tasted fine but we found it too watery for our liking. Slightly thicker version would be great! 
Spaghetti Bolognese @ RM 13.90 ~ Spaghetti with generous amount of minced beef cooked al dente. Not bad but too sour for T’s liking. She had half and wifey ended up finishing the rest! 
Beef Straganoff @ RM 16.90 ~ Sliced beef with mushroom and bell pepper. E enjoyed the creamy gravy that went well with the rice but the tough beef slices kinda ruin it! I finished the remaining half! 
Caprieciosa Pizza @ RM 18.90 (Regular) ~ Topped with beef, pepperoni, fresh tomatoes @ mozarella cheese. First bite was nice but as we ate, we felt that the passata was way too diluted for this Italian delicacy. Tasted like it’s not been properly baked and the lack of cheese is a pity! 
Pepper flakes and the Tabasco sauce is a must for me when enjoying a nice pan of pizza!
Simple yet comfortable setup.
Overall, the food wasn’t all that bad but there’s plenty of room for improvement. Afterall, for that price one may just hop in and savour some decent and affordable Italian meal!
