Restoran LFF Bak Kut Teh @ Taman OUG, Jalan Klang Lama

Whenever we make our way to Overseas Union Garden (O.U.G) via the “roast duck street”, we never fail to see some signboards jutting out from some eateries below the road and one of them being Restautrant LFF. Wifey finally suggested we give it a try since we did not cook today.

Parking can be a “slight” issue at Restaurant LFF, especially on weekends.

An air-conditioned room is available for those who prefer to dine in comfort besides this spacious and airy “fan” only seating.

Clam in Superior Broth (上汤拉拉) @ RM 15.00 ~ Serving is rather big for 2 person. Broth is spicy but tasty with good amount of thinly sliced ginger and bird’s eye chilies. Clam flesh is boiled to perfection and not at all chewy. Fresh and should not miss if you like this! An 8/10!

Stir-fry Chinese Cabbage (清炒菜膽) @ RM 9.00 ~ Crunchy and tasty with good “wok hei” imparted into this simple dish. Good! A 10/10!

Sweet and Sour Pork (咕嚕肉) @ RM 13.00 ~ This dish is not really up to par as its batter is really thick and served with too much gravy. Taste wise, so so only. Common dish but not everyone cooks it well. A 3/10!

This simple meal cost us RM 42.00 inclusive of a pot of Chinese tea (RM 3.00/2 pax) and 2 plain white rice (RM 2.00). Lady boss is courteous and always ready with a smile that is welcoming and the food is acceptable. Will come back for their signature BKT and other dishes too!
