I’ve been craving for sate for the past 2 months but did not have the chance to have it until today. Wifey decided to treat me at our favourite stall to curb my non-stop urge for this tasty meat on sticks!
The sate set came with a generous bowl of peanut sauce and a separate bowl of chilli oil for dipping. Combine them together and it tastes fabulous! At RM 2.00, we got the nasi impit and some sliced cucumbers.
Chicken & Beef Sate @ RM 0.60 per stick ~ Chicken was good with charred bits and some accompanying fats, beef was aromatic but a little tough. It’ll be perfect if they are served hot, unfortunately they were not, be it the sate or the peanut sauce. Attention needed! Overall was ok! A 7/10!
Crowd queueing for takeaway and sit down meal during peak hours. Nevertheless, it’s worth the wait and parking is ample. A good place to have good and tasty sates!
