This square is one of our favourite breakfast place where one may find good variety of food. The only setback is the parking due to the market area nearby! This morning I wanted to have chee cheong fun (rice noodle roll) and to have a good one, I always come to this stall which is located right in front of Restaurant Hoong Pin.
This stall is tidily managed by the very polite Ms. May. All items are picked using a stainless steel tong therefore there won’t be bare hand contact with the food served. Hygienic in short! There’s also another stall manned by the brother in Bandar Seri Petaling wet market. One may try it out if staying around that vicinity.
A boiling pot containing foo chok, fish balls, meatball, dao fu pok (fried puffy bean curd) and many more for customers to pick and choose. Customers also have the option of having thick sweet sauce or the flavourful curry with some sambal to go with the rice noodle rolls . Another simpler mix on the chee cheong fun would be the soy sauce, oil, chili sauce & some green chili pickles. Anyway, just tell Ms. May what you want and she’ll happily attend to it.
Curry Chee Cheong Fun a.k.a Rice Noodle Rolls @ RM 2.60 ~ Served with aromatic curry and some sprinkle of roasted sesame seeds simply makes this plate of super smooth rice noodle rolls irresistible! I had 1 serving of rice noodle rolls @ RM 1.40 together with a piece of fu pei (bean curd skin) & a piece of dao fu pok (fried puffy bean curd) @ RM 0.60 each. I had some green chili pickles to go with it. What a combo!
